

Cliff Butler
- Cliff serves as President of Gulf State Community Bank. He is treasurer of Habitat for Humanity of Franklin County and a board member of the Franklin County Community Development Corporation. Having served the Friends of Franklin County Public Library for 10 years as president, Cliff is currently their treasurer; he is on the board of the Community Foundation of North Florida; he acts as secretary for the Apalachicola Rotary; he is a board member with the Gulf Coast Workforce; and is a past president of the Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce. Cliff has been the treasurer for the Apalachicola Maritime Museum and a former director for the Florida Seafood Festival. His community involvement is extensive. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Florida State University as well as graduate degrees from both the Florida School of Banking and the LSU School of Banking.

George Jackson
- George joined the Board at its inception in 1970. He is owner of Jackson Auto Parts which houses the Ace Hardware store, a franchise he also owns. George has served our community as both a City of Carrabelle Commissioner and a Franklin County Commissioner. He is a member of the Carrabelle Area Chamber of Commerce and an FSU Booster.

Bruford A. Flowers
- Bruford has been serving the people of the Eastpoint area through his trucking and seafood businesses for more than thirty years. He is a valued member of the Eastpoint Volunteer Fire Department, the St. George Island Civic Club, a Little League supporter and active in his church.

David Butler
- David is currently Senior Vice President of Gulf State Community Bank, the bank his father founded in 1971. He has a B.S. in Accounting and an MBA from Georgia College. David holds degrees from both the Florida Bankers Association School of Banking and the LSU Graduate School of Banking. After serving in the Army for twenty years he retired as a Lt. Colonel and remains active in veterans organizations as well as civic and community activities too numerous to mention. His interests are in historical preservation and cultural awareness.

Paul Marxsen
- Paul is the owner of Marxsen Accounting. Paul achieved his CPA designation in 1992 and holds a Bachelors Degree in Music from the University of South Carolina. He is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and the Missouri Society of CPA's. Paul is the organist at his church; the treasurer for the local Humane Society; and a member of both the Carrabelle Area Chamber of Commerce and the Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce.

Jerry M. Thompson
- Jerry has 33 years of banking experience at the executive management level and has used those skills to become one of the top real estate sales producers in the area. He has won numerous production awards and as an Accredited Buyer Representative he is dedicated to keeping his client's best interest in mind at all times. Jerry is totally involved in community activities through his membership in the Franklin County Board of Realtors; Florida Association of Realtors; the National Association of Realtors; Real Estate Buyer's Council and the St. George Island Civic Club. He has served as president and board member of the Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce where he continues his membership involvement. Jerry is also a member of his church council and a National Certified Barbeque Judge. He relaxes by going fishing and playing golf.

Morris Brown
- Morris is the owner/president of Southeastern Home Building Services, Inc., a company he founded in 1983. He is currently developing Tuscany Trace in Wakulla County. In addition to building homes and commercial projects, Morris also teaches continuing education courses in homebuilding and has conducted cruise seminars on the same topic. He holds a Masters Degree in Adult Education from Florida State University, and is a board member of the local Habitat for Humanity. Morris is active in his church and an avid fisherman. He is a big FSU fan.

Jane Robison
- Senior Vice President/Senior Loan Officer.
Jane has been with GSCB since 1978. She is a graduate of the Banking School of the South,
The Florida School of Banking, Supervisors Academy and has earned an AIB Degree in the Foundations of Banking. Starting as a
teller, and working her way through learning different facets of the bank, Jane is now our Senior Vice President/Senior Loan Officer.
When not working, she is active in her church, and serves on the Advisory Board for the Senior Citizens of Franklin County.
Reading, gardening, boating and fishing as well as raising turtles, relax her after a long week.

Franklin Mathes
- Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
He is an Honor Graduate of the FBA Florida Supervisors Academy and an Honor Graduate from the FBA’s Florida School of Banking at the University of Florida. From there he continued on to the Graduate School of Banking in Bolder at Colorado University where he graduated with Academic Honors. Finally, he earned a B.S. Degree in Finance from Florida State University. When not in school, Franklin enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and being involved in Community events.

Jack Davis
- Wakulla County President
Jack has been in banking for 40 years and he has spent over 13 years helping serve the banking needs of Wakulla County.
He has been with Gulf State Community bank for 3 years, operating in the Carrabelle home office while the new Crawfordville branch,
which he helped design, was being built. Jack serves as GSCBs Wakulla County President.
He relaxes by playing outfield with an over 60's softball league.

Mary Ann likes to ride her motorcycle, go to Disney World and play with her grandkids. Whether at work or off, Mary Ann likes to go full speed ahead. Starting as a teller, She has worked in all facets of the deposit side of banking. Mary Ann has been with Gulf State Community Bank for 27 years.

Cindy Neel
- Human Resource Officer
Cindy has a passion for people so it was just natural for her to gravitate to Human Resources. While a single mother,
Cindy worked her way through college and later, after her marriage to Wayne Neel, she and her husband operated Neel
Auto Parts #2 in Wakulla County. She continued her work with the homeless, addiction recovery programs and the Food Bank.
Cindy created her own career path by accepting a position with the State of Florida in their Human Resourses Dept.and worked
with them until she and Wayne relocated to Franklin County. Cindy is the recipient of the prestigious Davis Award, twice! GSCB is
fortunate to have Cindy as our HR Officer.

Deanna Shiver
- Deposit Operations Officer
Deanna Brown Shiver has deep roots in the area; her parents are David and Ann Brown whose family founded Eastpoint.
Deanna joined GSCB in 1989 and trained in Carrabelle after which she served in Eastpoint as Office Manager. In 2004 she was
promoted to Deposit Operations Officer and is located in our Apalachicola office. Deanna and her husband Kelvin
have two children, Paul; and Jessica, who is married to Devin Gay.

Brenda Ash
- Mortgage Loan Officer
Brenda has 13 years experience in banking and knows where all the good loan programs are; she
specializes in commercial lending. An active member of her church, Brenda also serves as treasurer for the Hillside
Coalition of Laborers for Apalachicola (HCOLA), a local nonprofit organization. Brenda likes to relax by spending time with
her family.

Monica Lane Moron
- Branch Manager-St. George Island
Monica is a life long Franklin County resident and the GSCB family has been fortunate enough to have her with us since 1996. She is active in her community and is a member of local charitable organizations, such as Franklin’s Promise and on the Florida Seafood Festival Board. Her passion however, is the children of our county. This is evident by her being a member of the Franklin County Seahawk Boosters, and the School Advisory Council (SAC). Monica’s free time (though limited) is very precious and is spent with her wonderful husband Michael and their two daughters Marti & Monet. New to the position of branch manger, she is looking forward to maintaining & developing friendships with our island customers. Go Seahawks!!!!!

Toni Courtier

Bridget McLeod

Bridget has always lived in Franklin County. She and her husband Gene have three children
that keep them busy and they are all very involved in their church life. When not in the bank, Bridget prefers to be out
on the water. She has been with GSCB for fourteen years and is the new Branch Manager for the Carrabelle location.
